Your captures stay on your Mac.

Capora app

Capora does not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, usage history, screenshots, recordings, OCR text, captions, camera video, microphone audio, or system audio. Capture, annotation, transcription, editing, and export run locally.

Permissions

Screen Recording, Camera, Microphone, and Speech Recognition permissions are used only for the features you choose. You can disable access at any time in macOS System Settings.

Optional model downloads

If you choose to download a local caption model, Capora connects to the download address shown in the app and stores the model in Application Support. Captures are not sent with that request.

Purchases

Capora Pro purchases use Apple's purchase sheet inside the Capora app. Apple handles payment. RevenueCat processes an anonymous app user identifier, purchase history, and entitlement status only to validate and restore Pro access and provide aggregate revenue reporting. Capora does not send captures, recordings, captions, file paths, or project content with purchase data.

App Store campaign links

Links from this website to the App Store may include Apple's provider and campaign parameters. Apple uses these parameters to report aggregate product page views, downloads, sales, and subscriptions in App Store Connect. The Capora website does not receive your Apple purchase identity or use these links for cross-app tracking.

Feedback and support

When you submit the feedback form, Tepesoft receives the information and attachments you choose to provide. We use them only to reply, investigate a report, and improve Capora. Support messages are retained only as long as reasonably needed for those purposes. Email oz@tepesoft.com to request deletion.

Optional website analytics

The Capora website loads analytics only after you select Allow analytics. Tepesoft's self-hosted Umami records page views and coarse actions such as opening pricing or selecting a plan. Microsoft Clarity provides aggregate heatmaps and session playback. Clarity uses strict text masking. Campaign landing events may include the public page path, a short test variant, campaign source, and campaign name. Capora does not send feedback text, form values, attachment names, captures, recordings, purchase identity, or custom user identifiers to either service. These tools may process technical request details such as browser type, device type, referral source, approximate country, and IP address. They are not included in the Capora app.

Website security

The feedback page uses Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent automated abuse. Cloudflare may process technical request information under its own privacy terms. Capora does not use website analytics for advertising or cross-app tracking.

Your control

Select Analytics choices in the website footer at any time to allow or withdraw optional analytics. Withdrawing consent clears Clarity consent and reloads the page without either analytics script. You can also delete local captures, projects, exports, and downloaded models at any time. Capora has no cloud account or remote capture library to delete.
